This Cookie Policy explains how the AWE Belgium website, operated by van Throo technologies, uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies.

1. What are cookies and local storage?

2. What we use

We currently use only essential, functional storage — no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies:

• awe_cookie_consent (local storage) — remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask again.
• awe_quiz_last / awe_quiz_leads (local storage) — remembers your latest quiz result on your own device so it can be shown back to you.

This information stays in your browser and is not, in itself, a tracking mechanism. The data you actively submit (for your report or the waitlist) is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Third-party cookies

We do not currently set third-party advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes in future (for example if we add privacy-friendly analytics), we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

4. Managing your choices

You can accept or limit non-essential storage through the banner shown on your first visit. You can also clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may affect how the site works.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
